We are trying to get as many classes from around the globe to participate in our project. The goal of the project is to have students from around the the world create a piece of artwork to show what they care about or how they care for another living thing in their community or world. Each student also writes an essay or poem to express his/her ideas on caring. Artwork can be created using a variety of mediums- drawing, painting, or digital drawing. Each teacher will have their own page on this wiki to share the artwork and writings. All web tools are welcomed and encouraged such as photographs, Flickr, slide share, Teacher Tube, podcast, etc.
Students will use the discussion part of this wiki to make compliments on drawings, paintings and writings. They can make connections to caring ideas or ask questions to our new friends
The project will begin in September 15, 2008 and end in December 10, 2008.
If you would like to participate please email the following information to me at mthornton@nps.epals.com
